Join us for a bit of Hula 1/2 hour before the movie starts. 6 pm, quick show and raffle.

California’s Forgotten Children is a feature documentary that follows a diverse group of resilient survivors who have overcome commercial sexual exploitation as children and are changing the world by ensuring no child is forgotten. Through these honest, personal stories, viewers gain a look inside this ‘hidden world within the world’; a look at the realities of sex trafficking that our children face, wherever they live and whenever they are online. They also provide tools to combat this national and global epidemic while empowering survivors on their path to freedom.

Uncovering every aspect of commercial sexual exploitation, giving viewers a better understanding of this crime, encouraging communities to take action to prevent this injustice, revealing the signs of sex trafficking and sexual abuse, these true stories all help to keep children safe from behind-doors rape, violence and slavery, create a space for empathy for the children unjustly arrested for sex trafficking, teach proactive tools of communication and care for foster kids, and arm the community against the enormity of this crime, allowing us to find hope and inspiration through these survivors who have overcome incredible trauma and who now thrive as leaders in their communities.

Come for dinner (pay at venue - it’s Burger Night) and stay for the film!

Film is suitable for ages 13+
